Are you someone that doesn’t have skin that is sensitive, assuming you don’t mind a little bit of pain then you’ll want to take a look at eyebrow waxing. Men and women wax their eyebrows to help cleanup their appearance while removing unwanted hair. Waxing will last much longer than plucking but we don’t recommend it for those of you that have sensitive or irritable skin. Be sure not to try and wax your eyebrows if its your first time getting them waxed. After going to a trained beautician for a few times, you’ll be up and running in no time.
If you aren’t a rookie to eyebrow waxing and have had gone a few times you’ll want to be able you can complete the procedure yourself.. The first and most important thing to do is make sure you buy the right waxing kit. A good quality waxing kit will utilize high quality ingredients and be comprised of a pot of wax, a spatula and fabric strips. Most high quality kits will even include a soothing cream that will help relax the skin after waxing. It also helps prevent rashes or other problems commonly associated with irritated skin.
Usually most people don’t have a very hard time waxing their eyebrows. If your eyebrow is less then a quarter inch you’ll probably not want to attempt to wax them yourself, if you have less it’s pretty difficult to wax them yourself. Make sure you spend some time taking a look at pictures of different eyebrows, you are now ready and will need to brush your brow into the hairs natural direction. At this point you will want to tie your hair so it doesn’t get into the way, this helps you see what you are doing better while not keeping your hair out of the way. We suggest using a small common comb, if you don’t have a small comb you may want to use a toothbrush. Sometimes you may have a few hairs that won’t do what you want, in which case you will need to trim them, it’s better to trim them then to accidentally remove hair from the center of your brow.
Now you are ready to begin the waxing process, you will now need to prep the area around the brow. You should use the included cleaning packets to help clean the areas that you are about to work on, and begin applying a small portion of powder to the area. Pay attention as this is one of the most crucial parts, start to put the wax on in the flow of your eyebrow hair. Remember to only get the wax on the areas in which you want removed, when applying the wax be conservative or you may end up removing hair you don’t want removed. Begin by putting the hair removal strips in the proper direction of the hair, leaving a small tab at the end of the strip. Push it on firmly and smooth it out with your hand across the strip a few times. After making sure that you put in on correctly, you will want to hold on to the strip and pull quickly in the opposite direction.
Continue this same method in all of the areas that you need waxing, and then you are finished! You’ll be looking much better with your eyebrow waxing.
