Over the past few decades, Hollywood has become a prolific source of box office blockbusters. The movies are released abroad in just weeks or even days after their US premier that is why this phenomenon as had a global impact. Since Dan Fellman is the president of the Warner Brothers Pictures domestic distribution, he has witnessed that the international market is a very vibrant and growing place. Although it is not that easy to make profit on a film, what happens in Hollywood still greatly affect the entertainment industry worldwide. More than 100 million dollars are needed to cover the cost for the production and the marketing. A professor of film studies at Emory University even enunciated that one can never acknowledge what the public at any given time is getting to find energizing or sensationally attracting. Great preparation is needed in preproduction because it is the longest phase in filmmaking. The hope is that every buck used in preproduction will redeem many more times that quantity on filming. The creating of a movie starts with a story idea, which perhaps be either fictional or based on real world consequences. It is the responsibility of the writer to put the story into a script form, also called screenplay; and this script can be revised many times before they come up to the shooting script, which is the final script. The shooting script contains the dialogue of the film as well as a brief description of the action that will take place; it also provides guidance for technical details, such as camera direction and transitions between scenes. Many additional issues must be finalized during preproduction, like localization, men and womens costumes, interior sets, stunts, and others. Admittedly, shooting a movie can be time devouring, tiresome, and expensive.
