The outside upstairs windows needed to be cleaned and the bulb in an outside light fixture outside the house needed to be replaced; this has been mentioned by the wife of Paul to him several times. However, Paul knew that he needed to use a ladder in doing these jobs that is why he kept on postponing it. He learned from the representative of Xtend and Climb Telescoping Ladder that accidents involving ladders can cause serious, even fatal, injuries. These accidents happen if the worker had no idea on how to properly use the ladder. If the ladder is too short, you might need to overstretch it, or if it is too long, you might need to put it at a dangerous angle. It would be advisable to use a leaning ladder in getting into your attic instead of using a stepladder. With regards to a situation on a vehicle, place the ladder in the proper ladder rack. A long ladder might hang out over the back of the vehicle, so tie a warning flag on the end to make it easily visible to someone following. If you are to carry the ladder, it is safest if somebody can assist you but if in case you are forced to carry it alone, you need to carry it in a horizontal way on your shoulder. Remember to have the same length of the ladder behind as you have in front; and keep the front end above head height to avoid hitting anyone. Care should be extremely observed because it is not funny to be a victim of a ladder accident. Accidents can be avoided if teamwork and cooperation is executed.
